Our newest ham, the Original Kitzbüheler Metzgerschinken, reached at this years PRODUKT CHAMPION the third place in the category counter. Josef Huber from the Butchery Huber is very happy about the success, above all because our Original Kitzbüheler Metzgerschinken was the most successful ham in this category. Huber about this award: “We are a traditional butchery in Kitzbühel with our focus on traditional trade and Austrian quality. There are a lot of hours of work till our ham reach the quality our costumers wait for. For example our ham is hand-knotted and we only use natural ingredients. This given award is an important confirmation for our Butchery that we’re on the right track.” The Original Kitzbüheler Metzgerschinken is sous-vide cooked, mild and has a smooth smoke taste. The secret: Because of the sous-vide cooking our ham is specially tender and succulent. It is allergen free and produced with Austrian meat. 

PRODUKT Champion

The third place in the PRODUKT Champion is already the second award for our Metzgerschinken in one year. In spring 2017 our ham was honoured with a gold medal at the DLG Qualitätswettbewerb in Germany. The PRODUKT Champion is one of the most important awards for new products in the Austrian grocery trade. It is given by the Austrian magazine PRODUKT in cooperation with the AMA Marketing.
